Desire is Dreamworldgirl Zine’s first ever mini-issue (and we’ve been keeping it a secret)! This is an 18+ print-only zine about sex, sexuality and gender, sex education, dating, power, shame, identity and of course, desire/yearning! Our goal with this particular zine is to spotlight and showcase multiple different perspectives on the intersection between sex and girlhood, giving our diverse community a chance to be freaked out (and on their own terms) <3

Unlike previous issues, we will not be opening submissions for Desire! All of the photoshoots and artwork have already been completed, and the written pieces are being edited and designed as we speak! You will soon meet the small crew working on this zine in a MEET THE TEAM post (and there are some volunteer positions available on our Careers page)!

The Desire issue’s aesthetic is moody, seductive and quite queer. Visually, it takes inspiration from 90s catalogs and is deeply rooted in autumnal aesthetics, astrology, and vintage intimacy.
