Dreamworldgirl Zine is always collaborating on projects outside of our biannual zines and multimedia ventures. Right now we are spearheading two major projects in Boston: the Commonplace Zine Fest and the Date or Dash show. Read more below!

The Commonplace Zine Fest is a brand new public event where creators of zines gather to sell, trade, and showcase their work, brought together by a team of Boston-based independent zines, magazines, newsletters and miscellaneous publications. This event took place for the first time on November 1st, 2025 and we are currently fundraising and looking for sponsors for next year’s event!
date or dash
Date or Dash is a brand new collaboration brought to you by DWG and We’re Not Really Strangers. In this short-form, outdoor dating show two participants are matched together based off of their compatibility scores, and then go on a 5-minute date! These dates are guided by a playful card game filled with questions about love and personal identity.
