Dreamworldgirl Zine is always collaborating on projects outside of our biannual zines and multimedia ventures. We spearheaded two major projects in Boston: the Commonplace Zine Fest and the Date or Dash show, and have re-launched our virtual book club. Read more below!
THE THEORY
The Theory is an upcoming short film about DWG’s three original characters: Soleil, Celeste and Angel, and tells the story of how they first met and started a magazine together. Filming has wrapped and we’re now in post-production <3 Follow along with the newest DWG TV project on Instagram and stay tuned for the premiere screening in Boston <3
date or dash
Date or Dash is a brand new collaboration brought to you by DWG and We’re Not Really Strangers. In this short-form, outdoor dating show two participants are matched together based off of their compatibility scores, and then go on a 5-minute date! These dates are guided by a playful card game filled with questions about love and personal identity. Make sure to watch the first season which is out now on YouTube!

As part of our Fantasy season, we are re-launching our 100% free reading group! We will meet virtually on a monthly basis to discuss books that align with our Issue 05 theme. The fourth book the Dreamworldgirl Book Club will read together is graphic novel Nimona by ND Stevenson.
